Wedding 6: bachelorette party
Monday, September 17, 2012 || 11:21 PM
Wedding preparation has been a breeze.... Till it comes to my bachelorette party.
Don't get me wrong, it was sweet crazy fun but getting to the day was a little nerve wrecking. Let me count the ways it got me to become a walking bunch of nerves:
1. It was a kept secret. I know nothing.
2. Random girlfriends will suddenly whatsapp me "I'm so excited for you!"
3. When I meet some of them for dinner and drinks, they kept smiling sheepishly and tell me once again " I'm so excited for you!"
4. No matter how I pry, the answers I get is and always be varying from " dun know" and "not sure"... Followed by a smile...
Basically I lived for almost 14 days with these top secret agents.... One sleeps in the same room as me..one works with me 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.... Two chats with me on whatsapp daily....but no one leaks a single clue...how to not be nervous!?
So the BIG DAY came... 28th sep 2012, 730pm.... My one and only hen night party is here!

Wedding 5: why an elope wedding?
Tuesday, September 11, 2012 || 11:08 AM
Since the day we decided on having a wedding in New Zealand, I have this question repeatedly thrown at our direction...
Some asked with amazement, but most asked in disappointment.
to be honest, there were times I start to question this decision; especially when my love ones express their desire to be part of this special moment.. ( thank you)
The decision started out as just something that I thought was more unique than usual weddings... Then the bonus came when mr soon like this idea of elope wedding, bigger bonus came when our parents didn't have much objections to this...
Everything flowed at ease and now,I'm ready to revisit the main reason why my wedding is truly going to be an elopement:
After the engagement, i started to envision our wedding. There were many big dreams that includes beautiful gown, lush wedding venue, lovely guests, pretty floral decors etc etc..... But the one part that I'm truly looking forward was the vows and ring exchange....
There's this image in my head... How he will hold my hand, the words he will say to promise his love, the way he will be the only one that matters at THAT MOMENT.
No, I do not really care what rings they were, how simple his vows are gonna be like.... The only thing I really cared and will care about is, he is the one before me, becoming my man.
With this, it sort of sets the tone of my dream wedding; I just need to be marrying him, that's dream come true... The others dun seemed all that crucial...
I hope to be able to look back at our wedding many years from now, to remember we marry out of purely love and not expectations:)
A new love

I have a new love.
Knew your existence since I was 3 but I was too young to love you whole.. I only love a part. The salty, sandy and sunny part... I'm too young to explore the rest of you...
20 over years on, I return to you with mr soon next to me. You are refreshing to me, every corner has something for us to discover... I'm heading back to you almost 3 times a month now...I think I'm falling for you... Huge part of you... My dear east coast.
Let me count my love for you:
Yummy food; new quirky ones, old comforting ones alike.
Cycling freely on East coast park
Navigating through the shophouses
Skipping into parkway parade for Howard storage and organic finds
Having our little singing concerts in katong shopping centre
A stone throw to old airport food centre.
