*Oh Hi!
I'm so glad you're looking here. As you probably know this is where a self introductory is and people will say nice stuff about themselves and the blog entries you see on the left.. Well i'm a little uncomfortable with that....it feels like i'm trying to sell myself and entice you to read on and at its best persuasion.... follow them on day by day basis... Nah..i'm way too humble for this.. If you like.... welcome and read on... If you don't...see the "x" at the right hand corner of the window? Click on that!

Happy 29th Birthday!

Given the moolah and time we spent getting the house, rom and our cruise vacation together, this birthday was not so bombastic :x i only mastered the time to push for a birthday plan the very last two days but given that Mr soon is not a person who is big on occasion, he didnt mind at all and found it pretty good still.

If there was a theme for this birthday, it would have been "Food Coma"

To kick off, we had lunch... lunch at The Knolls @ Capella Sentosa =) this is the place i have longed wanted to visit and heard so much about their awesome sea view etc........

lets start with... the view...

the view wasnt too impressive.. its probably to do with two things; i just came back from a cruise vacation and i saw a huge piece of sea so hardly anything is on par with that... plus... i went with an expectation too high... so it was nice.... relaxing but i cant help but to feel a little disappointed with what i saw...

the food was pretty good....he ordered a steak which was nicely prepared and the serving was pretty huge for the price we paid... mine was pan seared sea bass with black truffle risotto... sea bass was so so... but the risotto was yummy =)

The thing that made the whole lunch a little more fun was a peacock hen strolling around freely with her two chicks.... great entertainment for the otherwise boring lunch.

Went for a very very cheem movie on alien.... Am not sure if we are dense or the plot just dun make alot of sense...but it's really like we are lost in space translation :( the good thing that came our was we have very comfy seats and rested for 2 1/2 hours... Fully charged for dinner!!

So dinner was maybe the best thing that happened( to me :p). We went to my favorite Italian restaurant and I had my best pasta while he has a unique veal dish that we both dun quite fancy:(. But all in all we sent sone really quality time together and the night ended with a pleasant bus journey and a paper heart from him <3.

I love my boy!! Happy birthday!!

So he asked... And I say "wear the ring for me la"

It was not the most romantic proposal..
I thought it will happen... And when I thought it wouldn't, it happened.... So yes it was a surprise.

This is definitely not your regular wedding proposal... Ha ha... Of course, it's mine! Okay, save the crap, it's more like a decision after a heartfelt talk... A talk that happened after a row... But one that allowed him to bare his true feelings, expectations and dreams of us.

Baby

I truly want you to know, I will not exchange anything for the words you said, it was a dream proposal that I didn't dream of... One that goes beyond what i thought was meaningful.

It's almost like once again you show me you love me in your way, the way I sometime fail to see and appreciate. It's a tough road ahead, I'm so glad you chose me to be the one to rough it out with ;)

thanks for the ring :)

When a vacation calls...... The sea answers . We went on my very first cruise vacation on board royal caribbean's voyager of the seas :)

It was a fine weather when we set sail on the 2nd of June, am pretty impress with the ease to board this cruise and in awe of its size and interior...

Before boarding, i really though we paid an exorbitant price for this vacation but after seeing our stateroom and experiencing the service and facilities provided by Voyager... it is worth the dollar!

We stayed on deck 10 =)

To be honest things do get boring on cruise after the first 2 nights so good thing they have land tours and we hop on land for Penang and Phuket...

you see..we truly relax and enjoy.... and after the first 2 nights...we lost track of time and day...not to mention we both have no access to fb...sms...whatsapp etc.... so the only way to know which day it is....... the carpet in the lifts...

Yohoo!

I'm engaged:)

It's like finally I can update formally all the exciting stuff I have been crazily busy with for the last 2 months....

It goes in this order:

1. We started house hunting after I got back from my hong kong vacation... Mr soon suddenly mention we go do this...

2. We found a big apartment (EA) just right below a level where he is staying... It took us about 1 month or so to get this baby which is just 3 mins from mrt and 1 station from my house

3. We went through a bit of crazy drama when the current owner decides to not sell it cause of some emotional distress ( he is worried he can't find a house in time to move out to)

4. Thanks to our wonderful agents and the fact that we dun really need this house fast.... We exercise extension if he really needs it.. Drama ceased..

5. We started planning for ROM and being a very willful me... We are going for a elopement wedding in new Zealand... Just him and me. It's crazy but it's beautiful and my dream of an intimate wedding... Just the both of us.

6. I got my gown, a pretty pretty one. Not gonna let mr soon sees it till the day... I hope he loves it.

7. Interior designer sourcing is a huge ass pain!!!!! Slightly better than all the applications for hdb but still painful to do... The good ones are busy and I have to follow up... The not so good ones buzzing around me like mosquitoes! But yup... It's slightly clearer as I'm blogging... Will show the plans soon!!

8. We went on a cruise and he proposed:) I will keep the details to my cruise blog.

Loving my life now even if the sequence is totally upside down...
