This was quite sometime ago....went to Tampines 1 the second day it opened...the crowd was mad.....for the first time i fear the escalator would collapsed...
There are quite a few interesting shops but i think i wont go there often..i'm nt a eastern person to start with....
Saw something familiar while we are climbing up the "spent" escalator...."SAYCHEEZECAKE"... this shop was originally in Great World City......they serve pretty good cheesecake and creative dishes....but when we head back to Great World City sometime ago...we realised it was gone..... and now...we found it.....in Tampines 1....
There was a crowd...and it took them forever to serve us...so we started cam-whoring......
cuz the crowd is really huge...many cheesecakes were sold out...all my favourites are gone and the only reason why we are atill sitting in there is because......."durian cheesecake"! when there is durian....you can find eugene soon...and yup...he had that....and i ordered some cheddar spring roll.....not too bad but nothing to rave about....his durian cheesecake was also okay only.....

Dinner last last week was at CZZAR.... went there to claim our free dishes from their special menu.... as you all know...we are loyalty customers of Ichiban Boshi, we managed to accumulate enough stamps on the loyalty card to redeem free dishes..and CZZAR is sister to Ichiban...so we there we go!
Food is of very very high standards.... personally i dunt eat tofu at all....i hate the soya taste..... but as one of the free dish is tofu...and eugene likes it... we gotta order that... it turned out to be really good...i couldnt stop at one...and i ended up fighting with eugene....i even thought of ordering one more serving...haha..i'm impressed! Next up is claypot fish....i forgotten the name....but the texture of the fish is really good...and the sauce is appetizing! i could finish a bowl of rice with that....maybe even 2..haha....then we had this claypot "gong bao ji ding", chicken with dried chilli and nuts....this is just ok...taste normal....lastly..the Claypot Fish head with XO sauce.... its not bad....taste quite good...but i thought they could get more generous with the XO sauce.... i like it more salty....eugene likes it the way it is....
Then we qualified to spin for lucky draw.... i volunteered eugene and i ran away from the wheel....just before he spin it...the manager and crew came to wish him luck.....and10 seconds later...i heard "congrats"! i thought he might get $40 or sth...but this smart boy got $80 for us!!!! he was grinning ear to ear.....this $80 voucher should be good for our next visit....

TGIF!!!!!!!!!
It is a nice nice friday......i worked from home for the first part of the day... met up with mates to discuss about Miriam's farewell chalet.....its decided and i'm pretty sure we gonna have fun...cuz its all the close close friends and we are all for fun!!!
Its kinda sad that she is leaving for Shanghai...but i think she going back gives me an excuse to go travel in shanghai!!! i'm already planning for my shanghai birthday trip in Oct!! now gotta start thinking of the chalet....its just less than a month away....i just realised!!!
After the discussion, its Maison time!!! Maia is going for perm and me for a fringe cut!!!*exciting.... winnie did our hair...i'm done in like 1 hour....fringe and did some trimming,...finally i have fringe....and i think i look like a student....those quiet quiet ... good good girl...haha
while maia perms her hair...... i went for my brows trimming and express mani!!! i think fish is good...might go back there the next time...haha...i think i'm becoming vain!!!
finally after 4 hours her hair is done...taadaa.....pretty pretty babe!!! *hope she likes her hair man.....i really think she looks good...like more vibrant.....hawaii feel!!!
then it was dinner/snacking and shopping with miriam and angela....only miriam managed to get a dress....as for me and angela..its just window shopping.......nth seems to interest us at all.......boring.....the night ended with a chat at vicky's shop...we chatted till she has to close her shop.......
whoo hoo...... i like this kind of friday!!!
