3 years..... when i look at the photos....i cant help but smile....
We spents many brithdays.......we did many projects......we had many lunch.....we did many crazy things....we talked about many things....we shopped at many malls....we took ten of thousands of photos.....

looking at the old photos and comparing it our recent ones...... i found great meanings and memories......look at the "tut tut" faces....we have come this far man!!!!

I hope we will keep the photos coming!!!!

My life has more than just food and love.....

There's friends....... most of them are finding jobs or thinking of what they wanna go from here....so the kinda busy......no chance to go out....only can chat on msn......

There's work....... more and more shock *bad ones....... i'm now loaded with work....stretched to 200%....but luckily the people in office are nice.....so i'm still enjoying work.....just that i hope an ED comes in fast...a good one i hope...

There's family...uncle is back to shanghai...he is getting better but he refused the operation....i guess anyone considering a heart op will refuse it even if its a 90% success......that 10% is still too risky.....its the heart for god sake....dinner with mummy and daddy the other night..talk about lots of thing.... daddy wants me to think about doing my TCM Degree in 2011 instead of 2010....he says getting more work experience is important.....i'm thinking...but i think it is still 2010......

*going to cambodia for an adventure....the first time i'm going to this kind of place alone.....i'm excited!!!!

It is our anniversary....he reminded me.....this is the first time he said it to me and not me to him....

Dinner was at Pasta Cafe@ Ngee Ann basement... we have passed it a thousand times but we have nv go in there before.... so he brought me in this time.... these days we were busy with our business planning.....food and menu is all we think of and talk about..... finally he shares my love for food......haha.....he was kinda expressive at the dinner..kept wanting to pose...and he did the 1,2,3 thingy...and all the rest you see below...

Then there's me.....i always pose with food.... he will standby with my camera automatically when the food is serve....then he will be like" faster faster..." then i pose...he snap....sometime he will take over and say" i also want to take leh"..... who is more vain?



He said he dun wanna have Indian Food again.......

Looks like he dun really mean it...cuz after two weeks of break (from indian food)... he brought me in again... its Muthu Curry this time!!

Had their famous curry fish head and my favourite Lentil....aka daal....eugene think that is the best daal he ever tasted.....to me..i will like it if there's lesser cumin....

I dun know if my appetite is growing or what...i dun feel full at all....we cleared the fish....dismentled the whole head and almost licking the remaining daal in the pot....but i'm like not half way there man....

like i said...i'm not full....so went to bakerzin at millienia walk for oreo cheesecake.....they are having this 50% off their oreo cheesecake......*my favourite strawberry shortcake sold out le!* and he had this chocolate cake that tast 98% like fererro Rocher..... and i hated it!!!! hate creamy chocolate and that hazelnut taste.....

he says he feel fat....haha.....but he enjoyed the cake and ate it all.


Went down to Singapore Science Centre on saturday morning to support Philip and his Flying Toilet Bowl..... he is doing a demonstration for Minister of Defence that day cuz he won the first place for the "Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition 2009"! Who says working in World toilet Organization isnt cool?! who says toilet bowl isnt cool?! who says toilet cant fly?! haha...we prove you wrong man!!!!!!

The moment philip flew his toilet bowl....and the music "flying without wings" starts playing...i began to feel emo....i remember telling maia that i was touched...

If you think flying toilet bowl is absurd.....maybe you like to think again.....this guy... flying this toilet bowl wants to use his invention and work to let more singaporeans know about the sanitation problem 2.5 billion people is facing everyday...these ppl have no access to toilets....

Ratnor is back from Aceh and we met over dinner at lucky plaza. Maia brought us to this corner in Lucky Plaza that sells Filippino food ;) okok..i admit...i made her do it...haha...cuz i'm a little tired of Singapore food...plus i like to try authentic filippino food;p

Before Ratnor arrives...maia ordered this "Sisig" for me as appetizer..its minced pork with some spice in it...to eat it...we have to add in light soy sauce and mix it well...*yummy!

This shops well its food in a Nasi Padang manner...they layout most of the dishes and you can make a set meal by choosing 2 dishes to go with white rice..... i had one set with Adobo (pork), beef steak and mixed veg with fish paste.... Maia and Ratnor ordered bbq stuff...Tapsilog (beef with garlic rice and egg) and Bangus (milk fish with garlic rice and egg)....i love what i ordered...and i guess i have more food i like there still...so i will be back...

To end the meal properly...in a Filippino way....maia bought sweets for us!!! we had a dark puple thing called Kutchita...a cream colured cake called Casava cake that taste like tapioca cake...its my fav!!! then finally its maia's love....the Leche Flan....looks like an egg pudding with caramel to me....

When dinner is over.....ratnor showed us the photos he took in acheh....i dun know if its because we had too much food or because of the toilet/shit photos we were looking....maia and i feel like puking.....not a nice way to end the dinner man....







Cindy is back in Singapore to teach...This time round her husband, Bob accompanied her ;).. like we have promised her back in the States....we met up for dinner....

Dinner was at Chijimes Hog Breath Cafe.....
I guess Cindy and Bob are still not used to us snapping photo of nearly everything....and all the time....i could see bob's expression when angela starts taking photos of all of us with the food we ordered....i could tell that he is thinking " do i have to pose with my food too?!" haha... well....it wasnt too long later....he knows the answer....HE HAD TO...
if there are people who pray before they start to dig in.....we are those who snap photo before we dig in.....its our rule....especially angela and jacinta!

We talked and talked....posed and posed... i think everyone had a great night... we enjoyed each other so much that the next date is made...haha...yup....we are meeting again in may....and if things goes well...we will head for some art performance and hand her our critics at the end!!!!

After dinner...we went to MPH...i need more novels.....and jacinta ended up buying the book i just finshed and i ended up with the sequel of that book she bought....*confusing huh....
then we decide the night is still young and so its chill out time @ starbucks!! it is as if we were mute last life.....we simply cant stop talking...we talked about life....love.....growing up...marriage...and mount everest!!!

i love this kind of night.......

More food!!!

I dun really have the time to blog cuz my uncle is back from Shanghai....and well...not for a good reason....he's back cuz he's sick....so most of my evenings are spent at the hospital,,,,

But still i took time out for meals......

I think it was last sunday night.....
Dinner was at Aston @ the newly revamped SSC... personally i havent tried their food before...not when i get to know they have more than 10 outlets in singapore......i dun know how come i managed to miss them...but well....we are here at SSC...

i must say that the first thing that comes to me is...the food is really affordable....you can get a grill chicken chop with 2 sides at approx $6.50....a price you pay at foodcourts or even coffeeshops.

We had sirloin steak with pasta salad and potato salad...grill chicken chop with corn and onion rings and white fish with herbs with garden veggies and chef salad...i am pretty staisfied with the fish and steak...but i guess i wont order the chicken again...not because it tast bad...just that i dun like BBQ sauce....*personally i hate BBQ sauce!........the totel price is $25... cheap!
Had tea @ToastBox @AMK Hub.....ordered quite a lot for tea........i think their toasts are so much better than ya kun.... crispy...yet soft....just the way i like it! I heart their kaya butter toast;P

like i said..the older we get...the more fun we should have!!! so we are out for some fun...and treats!!! met my dearies for our sweet treats @secret recipe.... all of them had chocolate stuff.... and i'm the only one that took a cheesecake...strawberry cheesecake...and it is definitely a bad choice!!! the cheesecake taste really bad....its so creamy and soft.....no texture at all man;(
Miriam and Angela didnt managed to have their white choc macadamia nut...so go for their second choice...as for Adrian....it is always that Choc Indulgence.....think 20 yrs later...he'll still stick to this cake if we visit again... we talk talk talk.....and decided it was time for dinner.... yeapz...smart ppl!!! we have dessert before the main course....duh...i wasnt feeling hungry...but...we still need that dinner....cake is not satisfying...at least i dun get my satisfaction from my strawberry cheesecake!

So after discussing for very very long....we decided on Ajisen....btw..Zen joined us for dinner and like me, he is a great fan of Volcano ramen...haha....i think it is a guys thing...when you put one guy with the girls...he will be very accomodative...very nice...when you put two or more tog....they gang up and make fun of the girls....it is the same case for keith and thomas man.....guys simply become more egoistic...and bold when they come tog.....bad!

i want more gatherings....lets do it at cine....cuz angale says there is a neoprint machine there!!!



Its another gang outing and we have a new addition!!! welcome siew ping;)
Now we've got more girls than guys....3vs 2..... girl power!! and indeed our dear siew ping did the girls proud....cuz she outlast keith in this hotpot session;p

KTV will be the next!!! we're gonna explore new place if we managed to convince Thomas...aka the Kbox ambassador to try some other ktv(s).... till the next time...




Yes! IT IS INDIAN FOOD AGAIN!!!

i dun know why....but it seems like we are hooked! This week...we return to a more affordable vegetarian indian food @ Gokul... this is recommended by Eugene's client. The food is pretty good.... i like their briyani and daal (lentil)....their daal is the best i have tasted so far and eugene agrees on that....
I know i said it before but if chinese vegetarian is as nice as Indian's...i dun mind being vegetarian... hee hee...i know that this is a wrong reason to be vegetarian but i cant help feel this way......

we badly needed a walk to digest the food....so went over to Vivo City. the last time we went there, we realised "Spain 2 Dream" is no longer there....replacing the space is National Geographic Concept Shop..... as it was getting late...we did not went in the last time.... this time round.....we went in straight and explore.... its a big big shop with everything...photos...books...magazines.....khaki pants...berms...polo tees.....maps.... etc etc.... i feel so clever just being in there.....

finally after so long.....we met up with kim....

it was a late late dinner and by the time we chose our food and start eating...it was already 9!!!
before kim reached....fai, miriam adrian and i were talking about jobs......we used to talk about school...about lecturers.....and after doing so for 3 years...we moved the topics to job related ones.....job fairs....starting pay....passion.....cover letter...resume...haha.... it is so different....

i dun know if we are getting old or if the USA trip is sucha great highlight.... we spent the whole night recalling what happened and sharing all the funny details with kim.....its funny that no matter how many times we had talked about the trip....it never fails to make us laugh....

so...we talk and talk......and before we know it....its already 10 plus....and just as we make our way to the cashier.....i spotted a neo-print machine!!! haha.... its a big machine and i dun know why.....i just thought it would be fun if we take it tog...i think it must be due to the fact that we didnt manage to get a nice group photos.....those we asked to take for us simply cannot make it!!! so ya.....we changed some coins and we started taking photos!!!

guessed we create some kind of commotion cuz we were quite noisy and there were qite some movements.......i seriously dun know we can coodinate so well.....all the photos turned out pretty.....miriam and me chose 2 shots and before we could choose further...timeout! and the machine chose the other two for us... what follows behind is 10 minutes of decorations.....miriam and me literally added what ever we could and the photo turned out to be so "happening"......

he got me 1 bear...aka cheesecake.......

i gave him 2 chipmunks aka chip and dale....... my back almost broke while trying to fix this puzzle...




mummy is nagging.... cuz i got too many soft toys.....and most of it are sleeping on my bed.... she thinks i got no place to sleep and is causing my sinus....

what you see below are just the teddies!!! and they are from eugene soon...... all of them have names and the names have meanings....emily is the oldest...she is given to me at emily hotel....velentino is given to me on valentine's day last yr.... cali is a bear from california gym.....lovey is a lovely surprise he got me one day.....ota is the san"ta" bear he got for me to accompany to "o"klahoma.....gentleman is from our"gent"ing trip.... strawberry and cheesecake is inspired by the strawberry cheesecake ice cream he treat me on our 3rd anniversary...

Other than these bears....there is still a giant pink pig called piggy....cuz he is pretty dirty...so he went for a bath in the washing machine....

every night...i will shift the bears down to the floor.....lay them properly.....then i sleep....randomly i pick 3 bears to sleep with me weekly.... then in the morning.....they get back on the bed....... i didnt think it was troublesome till this moment...cant believe i spend minutes before sleeping and after waking up to settle them.....

but i still want more...eugene soon......more k!?!

We are 3!! 28th of Feb is a special day for us......
cuz i have exam...and he has to work till 5...so we could only have dinner....
as we are now in the middle of india food craze......so dinner was at one of the finest north indian restaurant in singapore - Shahi Maharani! The food is claimed to be fit for the royals! After settling down...he took something from his bag......it is my present!!! lalalalaalalala...it is a "groom"!!! he bought me a "bride"earlier which he thought was a "princess"....so to complete the set....here comes my groom.....
The deocor is pretty elaborated.....it has traditional indian music playing in the background...the utensils were polished and posh...and the service is really good..looking at the extensive menu and making a decision took quiet some time and when we finally made up our mind place our orders, the waiter looked worried and said" that is alot of food......" it was silence for 30 seconds before i ask him to take one veg dish out......
One thing i really like about this place is our orders are served at one shot....i like the feeling of having many dishes on the table...look nice....feel nice...... we had romali roti....tandoori roti.....onion naan.....dhal maharani...tandoori mixed....spiced fish......at the end....we cannot move.....
We were supposed to go for the travel fair after dinner...walked all the way to suntec city and found out it is held in expo...........eugene almost killed me.....but cuz its our anniversay...he let me off....my "blurness" was pardoned......... shop around and decided i needed something sweet...so he got me a strawberry cheesecake ice cream from haagen dazs! *SATISFIED!


Finally all three of us met up for our once in a blue moon ladies night!
Did i say i miss them?! If there's one thing i miss about stratagem days....it is when i sit between the two of them and have small talks! dinner was at boat quay.....betty was held up at work so tanna and me settle down and start talking......we talk about everything...all the girls thing.....being vain...relationship....etc....finally at 8...my dear betty came... ordered food at the feast starts.....we had betty's ometown food...its xi'an food.....its spicy...oily and yummy!!! even tanna...who is developing a sore throat cannot resist the food.....we sat there..talk and talk... till it was 930 before we decide it is time to go.....when we ask for the bill...the boss was like "wow you all sit very long le hor.." *in chinese.. then he said sorry to us minutes later.....i guess he must have regretted saying that.....it is not as if his business is thriving on weekdays.....so better dun run the risk of offending us....
We were supposed to go for salsa after the dinner......but due to the fact that i have an exam at 830am the next day....i gotta give it a miss.....and i feel prettysore...cuz i wanna spend more time with them......*if you are wondering why i still have exams....well...its my very very last paper..no more!
so..tanna went salsa...and betty and me took train to novena....she went through quiet alot these months... and my heart ache alittle....but knowing that she is recovering and having new focus in life makes me feel comforted.... we agreed to meet at least once a month from now on...and.... i'm gonna make sure i bug them till they come out for me!! i wanna go crazy with my girls!!!!!!
