Day 3.....kuta...to Ubud..
its been so long...haha...forgotten i havent blog abt it....think pictures speaks 1000 words.... so enjoy.......
Ubud is a "cultural" place........i must say...its really amazing to see the art pieces and performance..........
The mountain you guys saw is a volcano......and we had our lunch facing it....
its probably the coolest lunch ever!!!!
went down to Jimbaran for dinner ON the beach......will post photos up again......its absolute romantic!

day 1/2: Bali, Kuta
its almost midnite when we reached bali....
cabbed to the hotel - Oasis Kuta...the lobby was quite pretty...so i was kinda looking forward to how the room will be...and well...its ok..just a little small..but other than that...pretty ok....we have a balcony with a nice view of the swimming pool....BUT.....as bali is infested with loads of mosquitoes...we cannot keep the balcony doors open...unless we wanna be bitten......after unpacking... we decided to have a nice supper...to mark the start of our bali adventure! haha....but its really too late...and its drizzling....so room service is our only option....
cuz we're at bali...so naturally we ordered balinese food!mine is grilled chicken with balinese herbs while eugene's is grilled fish fillet...the yummiest thing is the chilli!!!!!!!!we almost lick it off....and spent so much time trying to decipher what they out inside......decided if its possible...i wanna buy a bottle back.....
After supper.....its time to sleep.....hopefully the weather will be fine!!!
Woke up pretty early...cuz we need to be in time for our hotel breakfast.....pull each other out of bad and head for breakfast...after breakfast...its beach time! went down to the oh so famous kuta beach.......to prepare for a nice tan...i changed into my hot pink swimming dress......yupz...you never see it wrong....its a dress made with swim suit material....i can go into the sea with it.....haha...so cool rite....eugene got into his beach wear...and out we go!
before reaching the beach we strayed to the equally famous kuta square.......went into their departmental stores...( for AIR CON...haha) as per my request...we went into the supermarket....i have a thing for supermarket....haha...cant help.... and it was here eugene soon found his all time craving....DURIANS!!!! he cant help wants to take photo with them.....and i gladly be his photographer....for the rest of they day...i believe buying the durian back to the hotel is at the hind of his head.......
went to the beach....and what we planned didnt happen....i wanted to tan or maybe go for surfing....but you know...the vendors there are too enthu...and kept bugging us......its kinda irritating and tiring trying to fend them off....so we decided to just stay for awhile..take some photos and go.......its really a nice beach....but the vendors make it terrible to have fun.....
went back to hotel and we jumped into the pool.....he swam while i dipped......
back to the rooms after we had enuff.....its kinda disappointing actually.......bali is not as happening as phuket.....and i really think its unsuitable for us.........its way too relax...and more suitable for old or middle age ppl......i really prefer phuket....way much better..... we cuddle...watch tv....( discovery channel)...and slept.......its relaxing but way too relax......this is all bali has to offer?
the nite was better.......we walked around.......to the discovery mall and along the street......then we chanced upon this horse carriage........as the dinner venue was kinda far...i suggested taking a ride! haha..its so fun.......the horse we ride on is a 10yr old horse...according to the owner..its a boy boy....and the 10 mins ride was exciting and fascinating!! when we reached Made's Warung..i was so reluctant to alight....how come singapore dun have horse carriage!?dinner at Made's Warung was with expectation...read so many reviews and recommendation abt this place....so after looking through the menu carefully..we made our selection.....i ordered nasi campur ( typical balinese food....the one i had has 14 small dishes ard the white steam rice) and eugene had this bake fish fillet with mashed potato...*statisfied*...........................

went down to geylang lor 9 the other day for dinner....wanted to have the famous beef hor fun and soya bean milk with you tiao....but who knows....the soya bean milk & you tiao shop moved!
its a bad start....and things couldnt stop getting worse.....the beef hor fun taste totally off......the burnt smell is terrible....and there's no oyster omelet that day.....something which i thought could subsitute the you tiao......its just not good....i doubt i'll go back again..
bought durians for eugene soon....he has 24/7 craving for it......so i thought it'll be sweet for me to get him some....

its been like forever since my last entry.......
many things happened......nothing too unsusal....
trip to bali may be the only thing worth mentioning....
i've reduced my life to so little meanings?!!!
i'm feeling lazy....guess it'll take awhile before i upload those photos on bali...
wait and you shall receive.....
been to a place recently....2 days in a row...i love it with all my heart.....hate it to the core.....
never would there be such a place that could reduce me to a emo freak like this place could...
i've been to every parts of this place... i know every part of this place....every turn at any corner....i know it better than i know myself....
its scary....
my tears could fall anytime....happy to be back.......yet....knowing that its too late for anything....
do you also have a place that make you feel the same waythat i do?
