According to the report, 'Single bridezilla' is the new breed of bride-to-be who are organizing their wedding before they have even got engaged. Before this report comes about, I thought most women would admit that they have been dreaming of their fairytale perfect wedding since they were little girls.... Now suddenly there is this collective term and it sounds really horrible!
Well I for one am not getting married real soon but when I come across a gown that is simply lovely or a wedding photo that is stunning, I sometime make it a point to bookmark it( for the record, I bookmarked alot of stuff so...). ... Okay, my point is, if we are not obsessed and scare our husband to be or bf off, it's alright to day dream a little when you are feeling romantic :)"
and i am glad to announce that i haven yet experience this real bridezilla moment... as of now... 2 months away from our solemnization =)
Our big day is gonna be at ...... New Zealand, Tasman Glacier
It will be on.... 8th Oct 2012, on my 27th Birthday
There will be no guests invited, just Mr Soon and Mrs Soon -to- be
We have a wonderful wedding planner and she has made every arrangement we need to have the wedding of our dreams......
With the above, there is really no reason why i need to freak out or get anal about.... i do think i have the perfect location* on a perfect day* with the perfect person while i look pretty =)
To be honest, to decide on having a elopement wedding takes courage and tonnes of understanding from people we love and love us...
" i wish to be there"......" why elope when we can be around to give you both blessings"....."it is a big day, should celebrate"......"how can?!"......."just the two of you?!" ............"why need to go so far?".........."are we invited?".............."the cert recognize in Singapore or not"............
there is really a thousand reason why we should have it in Singapore....BUT there is one very important reason why we did not; we wanna create and safeguard a complete piece of this most important experience and memory for just the two of us, not one else.
i know many are disappointed with our decision; mainly my mum and my buddies.... but i also thank them for the fact that there are no pressure on me to have my wedding their way... giving me away the way they envisioned...
All in all, i really have no reason to go crazy......
i am so looking forward... every preparation to the BIG DAY creates this blissful feeling in me (i hope in him too).... i just cant wait.
* location might change if weather is bad...... day might change if we insist on this great location.....
nonetheless, it really doesnt matter where it is gonna be... New Zealand is a beautiful place and i'm with the guy i so wanna marry...
