No matter how disappointed we were...
we still ate...and there are some worth mentioning...
Day one...i bought a strawberry roll from NTUC chalet's emi cakes the night before....it was supposed to be my breakfast but eugene soon end up sharing with me on the plane....from his expression...i think he was impressed....
The first meal we had in KL was PENANG FOOD.....haha...yup....funny but true....berjaya time square is directly opposite our hotel and in there sit a nice penang restaurant....the decor was cool and the food was pretty good......*we were starving then....
In the night.....we went to the famous jalan alor for dinner....had the legendary "black" hokkien mee.....and this charred stingray......the food looks interesting...but the singapore version wins! i like my stingray sambal hot and the hokkien mee is not so salty.....

Day two is the day we ate like mad....but NOT SATISFIED...just bloated.....the only two things i love to mention are our room service and the famous beef noodle....they were yummy!!! the room service pasta is superb....i like the sundried tomatoes!!! then in the late noon...we visit jalan petaling for the beef noodle......it was special.....they use the wanton noodle type of noodle...think its call "mee kia" and it is soaked in black black sauce..... eugene say: how come their food all black black one?! haha...its not bad.....but pretty special...not something we will have in singapore..

Last day.... we had the roti chanai!!! its roti prata la.....it was ok...not something to rave.....but i think they have the sauce singapore dun have...then off to pavilion...had the cute cupcake sized cheesecakes......and eugene think that is the best durian cheesecake he had....i gotta agree with that......
We decided to splurge on tapas the pavilion.....and wrong decision........it was recommended by eugene's client....but it is not impressive and super ex!
and before i forget...we had this satay in a cup at a satay bar...the food is so so...but the packaging and concept is definitely worth mentioning!
