stars hold special meaning to me......no appropriate word could describe the kind of meaning it hold..."special " is just a general word for it......
to me staring at the stars was like staring backwards in time,since some stars are so far away that their light take millions of years just to reach us. That we see stars not as they look now,but as they were when the dinosaurs roamed the earth......this whole concept strucks me as ........amazing...
even though we know so much about universe, ordinary people today know less bout our daily sky then our ancestors......even without telescopes or mathematics or even the knowledge that the world was round, they used stars to navigatew, the scanned the sky for specific constellations to know when to plant their crops, they learned to predict eclipes...it just makes me wonder what is it like to live so faithfully by the stars.......

star gazing is a simple act....look out that window in the night......look up the night sky.....how long have you not?
