i'm back!!from taipei....its gonna be a long entry if i'm gonna blog what happened the last 4 days...will upload a little photos the next few days to make the story more complete....now...some highlights...some things i found out about taipei...
-Singapore changi airport is really the best!efficient, pretty, loads of shops....
-taoyuan international airport is damn bloody far from taipei...its one hr...cost about NT1200
-Rainbow hotel has the best location and best of all..its clean.
-taipei is a good shopping heaven if you are rich..its same or slightly more ex than singapore...
-if you buy..its only for two reason...for the designs...or cuz the salesgirls are really hot and sound so sincere when they say it looks nice on you..
-taipei gals are all so dressed up....head to toe...
-the food can get pretty boring....cuz really...nothing too impressive..i'm a GOURMET!
-the shilin chicken is overrated..........they have better things there...like ji dan gao("egg" cake?!),herbal spare ribs,spring onion prata with cheese and egg...more....
-they sell this frozen sweet potato that taste so much like biting into ice cream...frozen kind,,yummiest!
-the shopping malls are not really for youngsters....75% of the shops...eg taipei 101 or shingkong san yue are branded boutiques....
-ximending and wufenpu is best for shopping..they got lots of interesting stuff....but a little messy...i mean the place...
- danshui and hebing gong yuan is overrated as well..its nice la..but not really worth the time spent on travelling......unless you are that kind of sightseeing tourist...
-always carry a small umbrella..it rains anytime....and goes away anytime....
-they have such good service...just pick any of them to compete with one salesgal at takashimaya...the taka salesgal will be put to shame...
-they have loads of nice western pastries or bakeries at the basement of shopping malls....amazing and looks so delicate...
-eslite bookstore (cheng pin shu dian) is the biggest book store i ever seen...so many books..but too bad..mostly in chinese....and one thing..their toilet is fascinating!!!the toilet cover will lift when you open the cubicle door...and they warm the sit....no seatin on a cold cold toilet bowl...
-the best food is as followed: ah zhong mian xian...frozen sweet potato..bbq buffet..ji dan gao..ba fang yun ji's guo tie and dumplings...and jian jiao....the smelly beancurd is pretty ok...
-taipei is a good place...just that i went with such high expectations that i'm slighty disappointed....

p.s: thanks... the trip wont be as enjoyable if not for you....thanks for blocking the umbrellas and shielding me from danger the past 4 days....
